About the station and area
Huvudsta opened in August 1985 in connection with the opening of the Västra skogen–Rinkeby route, and the station is located in a rock room approximately 25 meters underground in Huvudsta in Solna municipality. The platform is adorned by Per Holmberg's artwork "Hanging Gardens" from 1985, while the station entrance was designed by the architect Yorgo Turac.
