About the line

Line 14 is one of the Metro's Red line services and runs through 19 stations between Fruängen and Mörby centrum, from Stockholm's southwestern suburbs through the city and north to Danderyd. The Red line opened between T-Centralen and Fruängen on 5 April 1964 and was extended in stages until Mörby centrum opened on 29 January 1978. Northbound trains cross Stocksundet on Stocksundsbron between Bergshamra and Danderyds sjukhus. The route is also known for its art: Stadion, an early rock-cavern station opened on 30 September 1973, carries Enno Hallek and Åke Pallarp's famous rainbow across pale-blue rock walls.
