About the station and area
Mörby centrum was inaugurated on 29 January 1978 as the northern terminus of the red line (line 14) and is located in a rock room approximately 20–22 meters below ground in Danderyd municipality. The station is artistically decorated by Karin Ek and Gösta Wessel with shadow paintings that seem to change color depending on the viewer's angle. The ramps connect directly to the Mörby centrum shopping centre.
