About the line

Line 13 is one of the Red line's two services and runs between Norsborg and Ropsten. In the southwest it starts at Norsborg in Botkyrka, a station opened on 12 January 1975 beside the depot built in 2012–2016 for the C30 trains introduced on the Red line in 2020. The northeastern terminus at Ropsten opened on 2 September 1967, stands on a viaduct above street level and connects with the Lidingöbanan tram; the station also contains art by Roland Kempe. The route passes outer districts such as Skärholmen and Fittja before sharing central stations including Slussen, Gamla stan and T-Centralen with other Metro services. The Red line itself first opened on 5 April 1964.
