About the station and area
Norsborg was inaugurated on January 12, 1975 and is the southwesternmost and also the westernmost terminus of the red line (line 13). The station is located above ground in Norsborg in Botkyrka municipality, about 20 kilometers from Slussen. Norsborgsdepån, which was built in 2012–2016, connects to the station. There are two public works of art at the station: the aluminum sculpture "My Friend" by Eva and Peter Moritz from 2006 in the ticket hall and Raha Rastifard's light work "A Tribute to Movement" from 2017, which is projected onto the rock wall and is best seen in the dark.
