About the station and area
Zinkensdamm opened on 5 April 1964 and is located on Södermalm, with the platform embedded in a rock chamber about 19 meters below the Ringvägen. The station's murals are made by Göran T Karlsson (1991) and John Stenborg (2003). Above ground, the traveler reaches, among other things, Zinkensdamms IP and Tantolunden park.
