About the station and area
Hässelby gård is one of the subway's above-ground stations and is located on a viaduct over Hässelby torg in western Stockholm, in the Hässelby gård district. The station was inaugurated in its current form on October 15, 1958. During the renovation in 2011, the walls and ceiling were clad in green, perforated and backlit enamel plates, while two new lanterns let daylight into the entrance. An artwork in glass enamel by the artist Pia Törnell is integrated into the plates on one of the short sides.
